    I have been shopping on ruelala for a few months now and I love this site! I find amazing deals on clothing items for myself and my husband (who is very picky) The items I receive are always in beautiful condition and the shipping is fast and reasonable (if you order more than 2 things in a month). My only suggestion is that you DO NOT use Google Wallet to pay for merchandise. I had a conflict with my shipping/billing address and they charged my card anyways!!!   • Rue La La should be "Rue La Looooooong Shipping"



    I have literally made dozens of purchases with this website and never had an issue. Well there was that one time I didn't notice that that particular item said "no returns", but that was my fault. Anyway, flash forward to June 26. I ordered 2 items in 2 different boutiques at 2 different times. Only after I got the email confirmation did I see where one is estimated to deliver July 17 and the other July 22.   • Pleased with service from Rue La La



    I just read some negative reviews of Rue La La on the internet and feel like they are talking about a different company than has been my experience. I did learn to pay attention to whether or not an item was returnable and also how to do it if I wanted credit back on my card and not store credit. I have received two items in the last week which came a week or less after they were ordered.   • Rue La La is a nightmare!!!



    So I've ordered from Ruelala in the past and never had an issue until last month. I ordered a Kate Spade handbag and a dress and it took a lot longer than usual to come to me. I opened up the box and it was the wrong hand bag it was actually a little wristlet that cost much less that the one I ordered.   • Exhale Boston Gift certificate



    granted I didn't try to use my gift certificate to Exhale Boston until 1 1/2 years after expiration date 6/30/10. I was for a manicure/pedicure with parafin. Exhale Spa-Boston (Back Bay) said I was entitled to nothing on the gift certificate because it was purchased thru RueLaLa.com and because it was 1 1/2 years old. I was out of luck.   • Ruelala sent me used goods



    I bought a pair of Robert Clergerie "Zares" Suede Ankle Boot on Final Sale. They were clearly worn before the suede was scuffed and had dirt marks and spots on toe and heel and throughout. Also the rubber sole was all blackened and had wear marks as well as the inside sole tongue. The merchandise is supposed to be brand new. Not only is this fraudulent but against the health code.     I purchased an Ebel watch from RueLaLa for $1099.00. They advertised the watch as being backed by the manufacturer's warranty. The watch came with a warranty card from Ebel. The watch stopped working after 3 weeks, and I took it to an Ebel dealer who sent it to Ebel to be repaired along with my receipt and the warranty card.     I have ordered some 20+ items and returned a few that did not fit or were not exactly what I wanted. I choose to take the credit and it has worked out fine. I understand the $9.95 s/h can get expensive so I try to take advantage of the additional item free shipping but I do not always want more than one item.     I like the products offered and the prices BUT the return policy is difficult at best and appears to be designed to dissuade the customer. I would not be surprised if it is purposely designed to frustrate the consumer and get them to just say " forget about it - I will just keep the item(s).     I placed an order for my girlfriend for her birthday. I waited 10 days and had my order cancelled, I knew this because I checked my order status every other day. I did not receive any notification that it was cancelled. I emailed customer service and they told me they had to cancel it because my credit card didn't let them authorize the charge...     I opened an account with Ruelala almost two years ago. I had made three purchase with them and I returned all three times because they were such poor quality merchandise.     I ordered a watch off of your website. I had set up the address and had printed off my own copy and knew I had done everything correctly.     Have been shopping on this site for about 5 months and I rarely get what I really want because once you get it your cart and check out immediately, you still end up losing it to someone else before you complete the checkout process.     This company has serious issues with their server or something. They do a great email campaign telling customers about these great sales coming up. We spend the time to be there when the door opens, then cannot get in. After trying for 20 minutes or more (wasted time & FRUSTRATION!!!) sometimes you can.   • Ruelala great product, bad customer service



    Ruelala.com has some of the best discounts on some of the best designers. Unfortunately, they've also discounted their shipping contracts so they have no flexibility in helping you. Their contract is set up so you only get one shot of receiving your package. It also seems that their website predicts shipment on the wrong days. So, I missed my package - and my one and only shot for getting it without taking a day off work to go to their service center. Ordered boots on January 23. received notice that the boots shipped on January 28 from Rue Lala. February 5, still no boots. UPS Tracking Number says that the package was passed off to the post office on 1/31. Took me 3 hours to get the new tracking number from the post office - another fine establishment with shoddy customer service. Finally the sttatus reads "misent". What does that mean. try to call the Cambidge, Ma PO where the package is supposed to be, but customer service line just rings and rings. Called Rue Lala again and suddenly they know all aboutthe PO not following tracking protocol? What? They tell me I will see the package on 2/12 to 2/15. I will never order through Rue Lala again.

It always takes a lot longer than estimated for me to receive items, and I have ordered about 7 separate times. Also, returning items takes a crazy amount of time. I recently returned something not using their label, lost my tracking number, and they never refunded me. And without my tracking number they could not help me. SUCH A BUMMER. I lost over $100! I blame them for losing it. The item was never returned to me, and the other package I mailed the same day arrived fine.

I bought a dress from Rue La La and it has no label no tag. I believe it is used. Emailed it to the customer service, no reply so far. Very disappointed.

This shopping experience is the equivalent of waiting in line for a Black Thursday sale, only to discover that the store lets others waltz in after you, pick things out of your basket and buy them before you have the chance. Serious site issues and you get NO grace period in which to finalize your purchase. I won't waste my time again. This site is terrible.
